dedicated to Vibration Sensors
Vibration
Sensors were first developed in a mechanical form in the early
1900's. Since that time and with the rapid growth of the electronics
industry, many versions of Vibration Sensors or Accelerometers
have been developed. The principles of inductance, piezoelectric,
piezoresistive, strain gauge have all been used to create sensors
designed for the measurement of vibration, acceleration and shock.
They are used in countless applications both in research, test
and industry.
